The Challenge
Develop a site allowing independent filmmakers around the world to submit
their films to be viewed by an Internet audience. Provide a means for approving
content before it is posted for general viewing.
The Solution
Using the BANG process, digitalBANG worked
with the client to capture the long-term vision for the site. Next, we
developed a suite of server-side
applications and a sophisticated database-driven
solution that made it possible for the client to manage content throughout
the site via a simple web browser interface. Independent filmmakers populate
a centralized database by entering all required content for their films
online. Filmmakers then send a hard copy of their film to AlwaysI.com,
where it's reviewed for quality, digitized, and placed into the database.
AlwaysI.com controls where content and advertising are displayed throughout
the site. Currently on its second round of funding, this twenty-four million
dollar company is running its business on solutions developed entirely
by digitalBANG LLC.
